Melissa Phillips has many years of experience in public accounting plus previous experience in private industry. Melissa graduated from California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

After graduating from Cal Poly, Pomona, Melissa began her career at Kenneth Leventhal & Company, a national public accounting firm with an emphasis in the real estate industry. Ernst & Young, LLP merged with Kenneth Leventhal & Company in the late 1990’s. Melissa remained with EYKL until 1996 when she joined a local accounting firm Haskell & White LLP.

In October 2000, Melissa left Haskell & White LLP to start her own practice so that she could provide more personal and comprehensive service to her clientele. Melissa has worked with a variety of clients ranging in size from small family-owned businesses to corporations with revenues in excess of $100 million. Her background includes experience in a variety of industries including real estate, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail and specialized services. She has significantly grown her practice over the past couple decades and continues to provide excellent and personalized customer service.
